Beware of the Drunk Train

Happy Friday!

Been having a break but now I decided I had a good enough story to share from under ground.  Being the weekend and all this story seems so fit perfectly.

Have a great weekend everybody, just remember to be careful riding home drunk on the London tube late at night. Enjoy!

Pop-Up Festival Oxford!

Hello all you lovely people!

Pop-Up Festival has been and gone and I miss it already, even if I was mostly sitting at the table coughing and sneezing.

Had a good turn up of locals and passers by's, with some even joining in with the music like Dangling Manatee from Durham. We had mural painting, gargoyle making, story telling and loads of home made cake! All for a good cause to help the Fusion Art centre keeping on spreading joy in Oxford.

Art was contributed by Seb Thomas, Aiden Canaday, Asha Pearce, Sarah Hoyle, Theo Peters, Grace McIntyre, Lucy Barlow, Artscape group, Kat Corr, Lizzy McBain, Matthew Davies, , Ellie Smith, Andrew Leach, Kirsty Tizzard, Ollie Thomas, Kaeleigh Beddoe, Grace Rapaport, Phil Oakley and me!

My Monsters on their chairs

Room full of art

My promotional cloth bags

Music by Aiden Canaday, Freada, My Crooked Teeth, Alice Ream, Water Pageant, Salvation Bill and Flights of Helios!

A great thank you to all who came and hopefully see you next time to the ones who couldn't make it!

MCM London Comic Convention

Got to enjoy the amazing MCM this bank holiday weekend. Was super busy Saturday, had to stand in line for a hour for a ticket. Heard later some people had to wait for around 3 hours. Now that's commitment!

Can still say I really really enjoyed it. The whole show was very different from the London Super Comic Con. Mainly because it was so focused on manga and retail. Still got to see some very interesting comics and costumed people.

Here are some of my favourite photos from the show;

Entrance
Bunny girl - not sure on the character, sorry not my strong point..

Scary monsters

Great costumes

Up and coming movies

Interesting talks

Batman action figures

Super cute Japanese accessories!

Adventure time!

Lastly my two favourite characters from the show that I met, Low Budget Costume Man and Hunter S. Thompson.

Can't wait for the next one!

Coffee rat attack!

Hi y'all!

The fourth strip is done! Even made my husband chuckle without forcing it. If it's going to continue at this speed I'm going to need help coming up with more stories from the London underground.

Enjoy!

Under ground - Something stinks

Hej!

Just finished my third comic strip on the London underground idea. Seems to really be working, plus I got an amazing new pen that makes everything look better.

Hope you all enjoy this one. I did promise a happier ending before so.

Under ground - Tourists

Hi folks,

I'm having so much fun with this and there are so many stories to tell about the London underground, I've decided to make another one. This one focused on tourists, sorry everyone that felt hit but it's the hard truth.

Next one will have a happier ending, I promise. Maybe.

Lots of love,

Under ground

So recently I've been trying to create some small comic strips based on my/friends experience on the London underground.

This is my first attempt, hope you like it.

..and yes I do not care very much for kids..

Much love,
